Humor me please-laughter is good medicine

The purpose of this speech is to engage and entertain the audience, leaving them with something to think about. In attempt to use Humor to affectively  to hlep the audience to understand a new topic or thinking about the world in a new wa, to hopefully laugh, reaching beyond the laughter and creating a meaningful experience for both the speaker and the audience to build a positive memory for all.

Blondini returns to Online Presenters

Online Presenters was introduced to Blondini during Toastmaster Kim’s Ice Breaker speech.  Blondini is now returning for the first speech from the Engaging Humor Pathway. The purpose of this project is to present a speech, receive feedback, and then apply the feedback to a second speech. Toastmaster Kim and Blondini are looking forward to receiving feedback through tonight’s evaluation.  Please welcome Blondini back to the Online Presenters virtual stage as she continues her journey on the Engaging Humor pathway.

Timer’s Notes

  • Only Prepared Speeches with duration of more than four (4) minutes 30 seconds or less than seven (7) minutes 30 seconds are eligible for voting.
  • Only Table Topics speeches with duration of more than one (1) minute or less than two (2) minutes 30 seconds are eligible for voting.
  • Only Evaluation Speeches of more than one (1) minute 30 seconds or less than three (3) minutes 30 seconds are eligible for voting.
  • Timing will begin with the contestant’s first definite verbal or nonverbal communication with the audience. This usually will be the first word uttered by the contestant, but would include any other communication such as sound effects, a staged act by another person, etc.
